Located steps away from Petco Park, The Blind Burro is owned and operated by Good Time Design in San Diego. The Blind Burro specializes in baja coastal cuisine using local and sustainable seafood and produce when possible. Think grilled fish, chicken and shrimp with a Mexican and Baja inspired twist. The Blind Burro also showcases a second-to-none tequila, mezcal and spirits program that enhances the restaurant's Baja Costal vibe. Great food, great service! The place to come to for trendy Mexican food.My waiter was awesome! I came by myself and he was friendly and kept me company for a minute here are there.The food was fresh and we'll prepared.

Having been a frequent flyer in the Gaslamp for quite a while, needed to check out places we've not been to before. Based on the quantity and quality of reviews, this place was next on the list. The motif is cool, music was cool, service was excellent, and it stops there. Food was mediocre, nothing to write home about. Not a lot of flavor. Margaritas were the same. Then came the check. I'm close to giving 2 stars but the service won't let me. They are very proud of their product and where it is located. Buyer beware.

Get your Taco on! Short Rib, Carne Asada, Pollo, and Carnitas... The Blind Burro's tacos are flavorful, imaginative, hearty, and delicious! And the Churros are hot and heaven sent! My new favorite place for tacos in the Gaslamp!

This place is my favored. I go to a lot of restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very friendly and the cuisine they place on your table is so good. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice dinner in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.

The service at this restaurant was great. The staff was so friendly. We went for all you can drink margaritas on Tuesday night. $17 for two hours of bottomless margaritas, can't be beat. I like the margaritas there because they are made with fresh lime and agave. nothing like a fresh margarita. The bartender Tiffany was awesome. The Atmosphere is great. Really well decorated. The shrimp tacos we're delicious with crunchy bacon on them. Definitely hit the spot on taco Tuesday. We will be back for sure and look forward to next time.

I think the food lacked taste...maybe some salt and pepper would help. The chips and corn tortillas were extremely greasy. The margaritas were good though. Overall.. I would not go back to eat but would for the margaritas.

I enjoyed the vibes and the food! I had a bowl with shrimp, the flavors were totally on point. My sister had the tacos which also rocked. Lastly the chips seem to be made in house and they were delicious! I'm definitely going back :)

Corn on cob came out dry. They managed to ruin an avocado making the Guacamole. Chips were too thick and hard (had to be be careful not to break any teeth). The only thing I ordered that was actually very tasty were the pinto beans. I'll avoid this place from now on.

I loved this trendy, tasty, gem of a Mexican restaurant! My mom and i had an amazing time start to finish. Our waitress, (i think her name was Melissa), was very accommodating and was sure every thing was right. I’d loved her recommendation of the White Wine sangria!! Best I’ve had. You could tell everything was fresh. The tacos, chips, tortillas, salsas.. We even tried one of the spicier salsas!🔥 10/10 would recommend to eat here! Can’t wait to come back again

Fantastic service, delicous food, great atmosphere! Held an out-of-town work dinner there, arranged from a distance, and it went so smooth, not one single issue. If you're in San Diego, eat at the Blind Burro!

Went with a group of coworkers. Staff was friendly but some what slow. Group had the lobster tacos .... Good amount of lobster filling, however the corn tortillas got soggy pretty quick. The short rib tacos were too lean to be short ribs. Mostly pub crowd, good for watching the game.

We stumbled into this ballpark gem a few hours after arriving and what a treat it was. We grabbed a seat at the bar with Gabby and settled in for some local pours delicious margaritas, and some authentic nachos. Gabby was such a phenomenal and attentive bartender; gave us great recs for restaurants and bars to see while we're in town. Good to know:-The shrimp nachos are exactly what you want shrimp to be with such great seasoning. Topped with candied jalepenos YUM!-Caramelized pineappleðŸ margarita
